Not only is it a childhood favorite, but it's very simple.
This recipe is also vegan and gluten free!
- 2 tablespoons vegan butter
- 1 10 oz bag of Funky Mello Cookies N Cream Marshmallows
- 3 cups gluten free crispy rice cereal
- Line an 8x8 dish with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large pot, melt butter over low heat.
- Once melted, mix in the marshmallows until mostly melted. This is the key to creating gooey treats!
- Remove from heat and mix in the cereal.
- Pour into the dish and gently spread out. The harder you pack them in, the denser the treats.
- Let it set for about 1 hour, then cut, and enjoy!
Makes 9 treats.
