Aquafaba is a key component in our plant-based whipped dessert dips! It is the viscous liquid extracted from cooked chickpeas and it mimics the texture of egg whites. In our products, aquafaba acts as a natural stabilizer and creates the light, fluffy consistency that characterizes our whipped dips. This innovative use of aquafaba allows us to provide a delicious, plant-based alternative while contributing to the sustainability of our ingredients.
We specifically source aquafaba, the liquid from cooked chickpeas, for our plant-based whipped dessert dips, and not the chickpeas themselves. This ensures that no chickpeas go to waste in the creation of our delicious dips. We are committed to both providing you with a high-quality, guilt-free treat and being mindful of our environmental impact. Enjoy our whipped dips with the confidence that our production process is designed with sustainability in mind.
We're committed to crafting whipped dessert dips that cater to a variety of dietary preferences. Our products are carefully made without common allergens like dairy, gluten, soy, and tree nuts. While we take every precaution to maintain the highest standards, individuals with severe allergies should exercise caution.
The individual ingredients used in our whipped dessert dips adhere to kosher standards, but our products are not Kosher certified.This is something we are looking into for 2024.
Once your package arrives, be sure to put your items in the fridge for optimal fluffiness and flavor. Whether unopened or opened, the dips will stay fresh through the printed ‘best by’ date.
When a shipping label for your order is created, you will receive an email containing your tracking number. Your order will ship that day or the following day.
More often than not, a single delay does not mean that your dips will arrive melted. Please wait for its arrival and reach out to hello@funkymello.com if there are any issues with your dips once it does arrive. Please include pictures if possible, as this will help expedite the resolution process.
In case your delightful package arrives a bit warm, fear not – it's still perfectly safe to enjoy! Simply pop it in the fridge or freezer for a quick cool-down.
We do not currently ship outside of the Contiguous United States. However, as we continue to grow and scale our production processes we hope to ship outside the U.S. in the near future.
