Banana Creme Pudding

Banana Creme Pudding

It's no secret that we're soon launching plant-based marshmallow cremes!

We're having a blast exploring all the tasty ways our cremes can be used.

One that got the most attention on our Instagram was banana pudding.

So here's the first of many deliciously creamy recipes!

  • 3 ripe bananas; 2 mashed, 1 sliced for topping
  • 1 1/4 cup milk of choice
  • Sweetener of choice, such as 1 tbsp pure maple syrup or sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Optional 1/8 tsp turmeric for color
  • Optional 1 tbsp vegan butter or coconut butter, for richer taste
  • Vanilla mello creme for topping
  • Vanilla wafers for topping

  1. In a small pot over medium heat, combine banana, sweetener, optional ingredients, and 1 cup of the milk of choice.
  2. Whisk the remaining 1/4 cup milk with the cornstarch.
  3. Once banana mixture is warm, whisk in the cornstarch mixture. Cook on low heat, whisking occasionally, until thick.
  4. Turn off heat and stir in vanilla. (If not eating right away, you can take it off the heat before it's thick, let cool, then refrigerate. The pudding will thicken considerably in the fridge.) If a smoother texture is desired, feel free to use a hand blender.
  5. Layer pudding, bananas, creme, and wafers to your liking and serve!
